The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 AM on Pompeu Fabra street. The structure fell and struck the man's leg as a direct result of the intense wind gusts recorded in the region.
Emergency services, including Firefighters, Mossos d'Esquadra, and the SEM medical team, responded to the scene. Three ambulances were deployed to manage the critical situation.
After receiving initial medical aid from the Firefighters, the victim was stabilized by SEM paramedics and evacuated to the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona in serious condition.
