The Ripollès County Council has launched the third edition of its photo contest, focused on European Mobility Week, to encourage public transport use and creativity via Instagram.

The main objective of the competition is twofold: to raise awareness of public transport use in the Ripollès region and, at the same time, to foster creativity and photographic talent among its residents. The contest will take place entirely on the Instagram platform.
The competition will run from September 16th to 22nd, coinciding with European Mobility Week. Participants must publish up to three unpublished photographs on their Instagram profile, each in a separate post. It is essential to follow the council's institutional account, @CCRipolles, and send a direct message confirming the intention to participate.
Photographs must clearly identify elements of public transport and be accompanied by the hashtag #RipollesEnMoviment. Images that do not meet these requirements or are submitted after the deadline will be automatically excluded from the contest.
This year, the contest expands its participation with two distinct age categories. The first, for young people aged 14 to 29, offers a first prize consisting of a round-trip journey for two to Núria via the rack railway and a one-night stay, also for two, at the hostel. The second prize in this category is a hamper of Ripollès products.
The second category, open to participants aged 30 and over, also features two prizes. The first prize is a meal for two at the Aula d'Hostaleria del Ripollès, while the second prize is also a hamper of Ripollès products.
A jury composed of regional representatives with experience in photography, environment, and sustainable mobility will select the winning photographs. The decision will be made by consensus, evaluating creativity, technical quality, message, and adherence to the contest rules.
