Starting this week, Rodalies users will see significant services restored. The section between Reus and Móra la Nova, corresponding to the R15 line, will be operational again. Similarly, the R3 line will resume its route between Ripoll and Ribes de Freser. Additionally, the R4 line will once again complete the journey connecting Sant Vicenç de Calders and Manresa.
“"Some punctual actions and alternative transport plans will still be maintained to advance pending improvements in the network."
Despite the recovery of most services, the Minister of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition, Sílvia Paneque, has indicated that some disruptions and alternative transport plans will persist. These will remain in place to allow for pending improvements to the railway infrastructure. Areas where alternative plans will continue include the section between Móra la Nova and Riba-roja d'Ebre (in Ribera d'Ebre), the Ripoll and Puigcerdà area (in Cerdanya), and ongoing works in Garraf.
The Generalitat has announced a new alternative transport plan starting tomorrow, due to the total closure of circulation on the R13 line, between la Plana-Picamoixons and Sant Vicenç de Calders. This interruption is due to tunnel lining works and is expected to conclude in early July. As for the R3 line, the alternative plan will extend until January 2027, the scheduled date for the completion of the works.
