Two disoriented hikers rescued in Ogassa

Firefighters located the two women by helicopter in a rocky area and accompanied them to their vehicle unharmed.

Two hikers were rescued by the Firefighters this Saturday midday in Ogassa, in the Ripollès region, after becoming disoriented in a rocky area.

The two women were in a clearing surrounded by a stone wall, which prevented them from moving forward or backward. The Firefighters received the alert at 12:58 and deployed a helicopter to locate them.
Once located, the hikers were rescued and escorted to their vehicle, parked near the Sant Joan de les Abadesses station. According to the Firefighters, both women are in good condition and were unharmed.
