Adif suspended rail traffic on the RL3 and RL4 lines between Tàrrega and Cervera around 4 PM on Thursday due to the risk of a landslide.

The measure, announced by Adif, the infrastructure owner, required the immediate activation of an alternative road service. Buses cover the route between the two towns to guarantee the mobility of affected passengers.
The incident affected a total of nine routes during Thursday's operations. The first to be interrupted was the RL3 line train scheduled to depart from Cervera towards Lleida at 3:44 PM. Another train, on the RL4 line, arrived in Tàrrega with a slight delay and did not continue its journey, with users being directed to the bus terminal.
This interruption adds to the existing one between Cervera and Manresa since last Monday, where the route was already covered by road due to urgent works at dangerous points on the network. Thus, the alternative transport service now extends to Tàrrega.
Despite the incident, circulation on the rest of the RL3 (LleidaCervera) and RL4 (LleidaTerrassa) lines remained almost entirely normal, with minimal delays of less than ten minutes. An increase in users requesting the monthly free pass announced by the Government was also registered.
