The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility will complete emergency roadworks this Thursday to rehabilitate the surface of the A-2 highway in the Segarra and Urgell regions.

The main intervention took place between Cervera and the border with Anoia. Following the completion of this stage, crews are now working on scattered sections between Bell-lloc d'Urgell and Cervera that were damaged by recent heavy rainfall.

"We have provided a quick response and done what users and the territory demanded, which is for the A-2 to be the best possible road."

José Crespín · Spanish Government Sub-delegate in Lleida
These emergency works are part of a 3.99 million euro package for the Lleida province. A larger 13.28 million euro project for a comprehensive overhaul of the highway is expected to begin between April and May.
