A collective of elderly women from Cervera has materialized their culinary and life experiences into a book titled 'Fem-la petar entre fogons!', an initiative to foster companionship and memory.

Cooking has become the unifying link for a group of elderly women in Cervera. Participants in the 'Fem-la petar' project, who meet weekly at the Civic Center to share conversations proposed by volunteers, have created a publication that combines traditional recipes with personal stories.
The recipe book, named 'Fem-la petar entre fogons!', features nineteen culinary creations that reflect both home-style cooking passed down through generations and influences from other cultures. Each recipe is accompanied by a drawing of the participant, a brief excerpt from their life story, and the necessary ingredients and steps for preparation. The Paeria de Cervera has managed the publication of this work.

Beyond the outcome, this project claims the importance of creating community spaces that provide time, memory, and companionship in the face of unwanted loneliness.
