Spanish rider Marc Márquez saw his podium hopes vanish at the Thailand Grand Prix this Sunday after suffering a rear tire puncture with only five laps remaining.

Marco Bezzecchi took a dominant victory at the Chang International Circuit, leading from the start. Pedro Acosta finished second, a result that places the young Spaniard at the top of the MotoGP world standings.
It was a difficult day for the Márquez brothers, as Alex Márquez also crashed shortly after Marc's mechanical failure. For the first time in 88 races, Ducati failed to place a rider on the podium.
