The newspaper SEGRE will distribute its 2025 Yearbook for free this Saturday, featuring a photographic journey through the most important events of the year in the Segarra region and Lleida province.

The publication highlights local tragedies such as the massive wildfire in July that struck Segarra and Noguera, destroying 5,000 hectares and claiming two lives. It also documents the recovery of water levels at the Rialb reservoir earlier in March.
In sports, the spotlight is on Cervera, where Marc Márquez celebrated his ninth world championship title. Social milestones are also featured, including Maria Àngels Balsells becoming the first female rector of the University of Lleida in its 700-year history.
Global events such as the conflict in Gaza and the papal transition from Francis to Leo XIV are included, alongside local architectural changes like the new minaret in Seròs, the first built in the area since the Middle Ages.
