The 7lletres Prize rebrands to honor writer Manuel de Pedrolo

The 21st edition of the short story award received 30 entries and will be announced in Cervera.

Institutions from Segarra and Urgell presented the 21st edition of the 7lletres prize at Concabella Castle, officially adding Manuel de Pedrolo to its name.

The main update for this edition is the official name change to 7lletres. Premi Manuel de Pedrolo de narrativa breu. This move aims to increase the visibility of the author from L'Aranyó within the Catalan literary scene. The event was attended by leaders from the Segarra County Council and the towns of Cervera and Tàrrega.
A total of 30 manuscripts were submitted for this edition. The prize includes a 7,000 euro award and the publication of the winning work by Pagès Editors. The winner will be revealed on July 3rd in Cervera during the city's Millenary celebrations.
