The first #LleidaDigital Business Meeting in Guissona, held at the Teatre Ateneu, placed innovation and digital transformation at the heart of business discussions. The event, organized by bonÀrea and Analític Lleida, featured participation from executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals from various sectors to share experiences and analyze digital economy trends.
Jordi Verdú, Deputy for Economic Promotion of the Diputació de Lleida, emphasized the importance of digitalization for business competitiveness and future growth. "Digital transformation is no longer an option reserved for large companies, but a necessity to remain competitive," he stated, advocating for access to tools and resources for small businesses and entrepreneurs. The goal is for digitalization to generate economic activity and jobs throughout the Lleida region, the Pyrenees, and Aran.
Verdú also highlighted the work of the Diputació de Lleida through its Punts d’Atenció GlobaLleida, which offer support to entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses. This meeting in Guissona is part of the #LleidaDigital project, which has held similar events in Mollerussa for ten years, aiming to adapt business models to the digital environment.
The event began with a welcome from the mayor of Guissona, Jaume Ars, and a conference by Genís Roca. Subsequently, a panel on successful business cases featured representatives from MUNICH, Farinera Roca, and ICG Group, moderated by Laia Rogel. Speakers also included Josep Santacreu (Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona), Rosa Romà (3Cat), and Sergi Novo (TIC Catalunya Sud Cluster), as well as Enrique Tomás, founder of Enrique Tomás.
The meeting, presented by Núria Marín, concluded with remarks from Ramon Alsina Cornellana, President and CEO of bonÀrea Agrupa, followed by a networking dinner.
