The recognition was for a liver pâté made by the producer herself, which triumphed in this first edition of the contest, held during the final day of the gastronomic fair. The competition, organized by the Fundació Oficis de la Carn and the Confraria del Gras i el Magre, with the support of Carnissers-Xarcuters de Catalunya, brought together 24 participants to acknowledge the quality of traditional meat preparations.
In the rustic pâté category, the second prize went to Toni Vilà from Torroella de Montgrí, while Albert Codina from Can Toni Gros received a special mention. The award for Xolís d’Adons highlights the quality of meat products from Alta Ribagorça and the work of small producers.
Gust de Lleida concluded three days of agri-food promotion at the fair with the participation of seven producers: Anècdota (Montgai), Shotest (Lleida), Càrniques del Pla (Mollerussa), Fruits de Ponent, Mel Can Toni (Seròs), Foment Agrícola de les Garrigues (Maials), and Fruita Blanch (Lleida). Six origin and quality certifications were also promoted: DOPs Pera de Lleida, Les Garrigues, Formatge de l’Alt Urgell i la Cerdanya, Mantega de l’Alt Urgell i la Cerdanya, DO Costers del Segre, and IGP Torró d’Agramunt.
The last activity featuring participants from Lleida at El Rebost de Catalunya was titled 'Liquid Product: waters of origin, juices, coffees, and infusions,' with the participation of Aigua de Rocallaura, Cal Valls (Vilanova de Bellpuig), and the Parc de les Olors de Linyola, showcasing projects linked to local agri-food production.
Throughout the fair, Gust de Lleida organized tastings, gastronomic demonstrations, and promotional activities for products from the lands of Lleida, the Pyrenees, and Aran. The Lleida presence also included producers from the regional councils of Les Garrigues, Pallars Jussà, La Noguera, Segrià, La Segarra, Pla d’Urgell, Solsonès, and Urgell, as well as the Conselh Generau d’Aran.
Among the notable activities were a tasting of products with DO, DOP, and IGP certifications and the presentation of the Guia Augusta 2027, which recognized three restaurants from the region: Lo Pigal Casa Kiko (Llessuí), La Cava (Tàrrega), and Eth Restilhè (Garós). Participation in the Gastronomic Forum Barcelona helped highlight the diversity of agri-food products from the Lleida regions.
