The town of Aitona, in the Segrià region, has launched the 15th edition of Fruiturisme, extending the season until late March by adding 150 hectares of blossoming almond trees.

The 2026 blossom season in Aitona is reaching new heights. Mayor Rosa Pujol announced that the white hues of almond trees will now complement the famous 'pink sea' of peach trees. This expansion allows the guided tour campaign to run for an extra 15 days, aiming to break last year's record of 20,000 visitors.

"It is an expansion of the experience and, with this white sea, we can extend the blossom campaign by 15 days, a source of pride for the municipality."

New highlights include Floreix l'Aventura, featuring 4x4 vehicle tours through hidden spots. Additionally, the brand Mosq has developed an exclusive fragrance inspired by the local blossoms, featuring notes of sandalwood and peach flower.
The Lleida Provincial Council Tourism Board director, Juli Alegre, noted that Fruiturisme has become a national benchmark, attracting international tourists from countries such as Japan and South Korea.
