The headquarters of the Aliança Catalana party in Lleida, located on Passeig de Ronda, was subjected to an act of vandalism with red paint during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, just days before its official inauguration.

The facade of the Aliança Catalana (AC) premises, situated at number 106 of Passeig de Ronda in Lleida, was found completely covered in red paint. This incident occurred barely four days before the official inauguration of the headquarters, scheduled for this Saturday at 4:30 PM.
The opening event is expected to be attended by the leader of the far-right formation, Sílvia Orriols, and the deputy for Lleida, Rosa Maria Soberana.

"We believe that a response from the communist youth of Lleida was necessary to signal that AC is not welcome anywhere."

Socialist Youth Organization (OJS)
The Socialist Youth Organization (OJS) has claimed responsibility for the action, explaining that the main motivation is the preparation for the May 1st demonstration in Barcelona, under the slogan Let's stand up to war and fascism. The second reason mentioned is the imminent inauguration of the Aliança Catalana headquarters.
Despite attempts by this newspaper to contact Aliança Catalana, the party responded via its social media channels, stating that "there is no better loudspeaker than those who try to silence you; after the publicity campaign they have given us, we continue. Inauguration on Saturday!".
