The Arbeca City Council has successfully converted the historic Sala la Bola, a popular nightclub during the 1970s, into a modern, multi-functional community center for local residents.

After being abandoned for a decade, the building has undergone a comprehensive renovation to fix structural issues and improve accessibility. The project included installing an elevator, new parquet flooring, and an energy-efficient aerothermal climate system. The total investment reached over 260,000 euros, supported by the Spanish Ministry of Transport.

"Arbeca gains a space within the village where neighbors can develop different types of activities."

Francesc Roset · Mayor of Arbeca
In addition to this project, the town is planning a new municipal library at Sala República. This future facility aims to provide a modern reading space and will be named after a local woman, highlighting the town's commitment to cultural development.
