Nearly 200 people gathered this Monday, March 2nd, in the streets of Lleida to demand urgent solutions to the precarious conditions faced by self-employed workers.

The mobilization, organized by the Plataforma per la Dignitat dels Autònoms, began at 11:00 AM at Ricard Viñes Square. Participants marched through the capital of the Segrià region to highlight the sector's challenges.
Key grievances include increasing tax pressure and high social security contributions regardless of real income. Protesters also criticized the bureaucracy that hinders access to financial aid and the normal development of their businesses.
The group also warned about the progressive decline of small businesses and the need for social protection comparable to other employees. This protest is part of a nationwide movement calling for structural changes.
