Atlètic Lleida Wins But Cannot Avoid Relegation to Tercera Federación

Despite a 2-0 victory against SD Ibiza with two goals from Boris Garrós, the win was not enough to maintain their category.

Atlètic Lleida secured a 2-0 victory against SD Ibiza, but the result was insufficient to prevent their mathematical relegation to the Tercera Federación, due to UD Barbastro's win.

The match began with initial dominance from SD Ibiza, which, however, did not translate into clear scoring opportunities. As the first half progressed, Atlètic Lleida gradually gained ground and even claimed a potential penalty on Camara inside the opponent's box. The first half concluded without further notable incidents or goals.
The second half followed a similar dynamic, with few chances and control of the game by the Balearic team. Despite the substitutions made, the Lleida side failed to create dangerous situations to take the lead. SD Ibiza, content with a draw, attempted to control the pace of the match in the final minutes.
Nevertheless, in the 93rd minute, Atlètic Lleida was awarded a penalty, which Boris Garrós converted for the first goal of the match (1-0). Shortly after, Boris Garrós himself managed to break through the opposing defense to score a second goal, establishing the definitive 2-0. This victory, combined with Barbastro's away win, confirmed Atlètic Lleida's mathematical relegation to the Tercera Federación, as they could not reach the play-out positions.
