Access to housing in the Lleida region has become more expensive, requiring an average of 6.72 years of net income to buy a flat, according to Tax Agency data.

The financial effort to acquire a property in Lleida city currently stands at 6.96 years of full salary. In the Pyrenees, the situation is more critical: in Vielha, residents need 12.02 years of their income, while in la Seu d'Urgell it reaches 10.62 years.

Financial effort is an indicator that measures the level of accessibility for inhabitants to purchase a home.

According to the Bank of Spain, the national average is 9.5 years. Following the recommendation to spend only 30% of income on housing, the actual time to pay off a flat in Aran would exceed 40 years.
