Writer David Uclés is set to present his latest novel in Lleida on March 3rd at the Morera Museum, with all reservations already fully booked due to overwhelming local interest.

The event, organized by La Irreductible bookstore, had to be moved to the museum to accommodate more attendees. Uclés, who won this year's Nadal Prize for La ciutat de les llums mortes (The City of Dead Lights), will discuss his creative process with Anna Sàez, director of SEGRE.
The author rose to fame in 2024 with his previous work, La península de les cases buides, which sold over 300,000 copies. His latest narrative has been praised by critics for its allegorical reflection on collective memory and its conceptual ambition.

"I want to be free. Free to go or not where I consider, to converse with whom I wish, to wear a hat or not, to speak Catalan or Basque or Esperanto."
