Twelve students from the Escola d'Art Municipal (EAM) Leandre Cristòfol in Lleida have participated in the fourth edition of an initiative that transforms urban furniture into works of art, promoted by the Paisatge de Lleida Foundation.

This activity, which is part of the students' learning process, has allowed them to decorate five utility cabinets located at various points in the city. The chosen locations include Salmerón Street, Blas Infante Square, Ferran Rambla, Francesc Macià Avenue, and Blondel Avenue.
This year's central theme has focused on depicting characteristic landscape elements of Lleida and figures of pedestrians. This choice not only visually enriches the environment but also offers students the opportunity to practice various pictorial techniques and develop their improvisation skills.

This initiative also helps to give a new image to urban furniture that is usually dirty, worn, or vandalized.

The secondary objective of the project is to revitalize the appearance of urban furniture, which is often found in deteriorated conditions or has been vandalized, thus contributing to an aesthetic improvement of Lleida's public space.
