The Mossos d'Esquadra police force identified eleven individuals using sophisticated audiovisual equipment to cheat during theoretical driving exams in Lleida throughout February.

The fraudsters used hidden cameras embedded in their clothing to stream the exam questions to an accomplice outside. The answers were then relayed back via tiny, invisible earbuds. This operation was coordinated with the Provincial Traffic Headquarters following reports of suspicious behavior.
In addition to the 500-euro fines and a six-month ban from retaking the test, two people were arrested. These individuals drove themselves to the exam center despite having lost all their license points, leading to criminal charges for road safety offenses.
