The Minister of Territori, Sílvia Paneque, has confirmed that Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC) will take over the operation of the RL3 and RL4 lines between Lleida and Manresa starting this autumn.

The management transfer in the Ponent region will include four new trains and the training of 13 drivers. According to the Minister, the goal is to achieve punctuality and reliability standards similar to those of the la Pobla line.

"Line inspections for the start of the morning service will be carried out according to FGC standards. These are the guarantees of a reliable service."

To ensure proper service, the Government plans to expand the Pla de Vilanoveta workshops. This facility is essential, as the current lack of maintenance accounts for 25% of incidents affecting Rodalies passengers.
