The incident took place in Module 6. The union reported that the inmate, who has a long history of sexual aggression towards female staff, touched himself while staring at the worker. He was subsequently moved to the Special Department.

The union is calling for the immediate transfer of the inmate to another facility. This follows another violent episode last Saturday at the Lleida prison, where four officers were attacked after an inmate set fire to his cell.
Following these events and recent suicides at Puig de les Basses and Quatre Camins prisons, the union has demanded the resignation of Domingo Estepa, Director General of Penitentiary Affairs. The Justice department declined to comment.
