The Lleida City Council expects to start expansion works at El Segre industrial park within a year, a project that will add nearly one million square meters of industrial land.

This urban development, announced this Wednesday by the Paeria, will involve a growth of 549.000 m² within the municipality of Lleida. This will be joined by an additional 400.000 m² planned by the Alcoletge town council in its respective area.
The technical plan includes the creation of three large blocks. These areas are designed to accommodate large plots of over 10.000 m², aiming to attract companies from various sectors requiring significant space.
The expansion of El Segre has been a long-standing demand from the business community in the Segrià region, as the current lack of available industrial land has been a bottleneck for local economic growth.
