The University of Lleida spin-off UniSCool has been awarded a €2.5 million grant by the European Innovation Council Accelerator to develop its cutting-edge liquid cooling technology for data centers.

The company's patented direct-to-chip cooling system can reduce energy consumption by up to 70%. This innovation is particularly relevant as the demand for Artificial Intelligence and high-performance computing continues to grow, putting immense pressure on global energy grids and thermal management systems.

"This European support is a decisive step to accelerate the industrialization of our technology, expand the team, and strengthen our international expansion."
