The capital of Segrià is preparing for the last day of its festivities, which coincides with the celebration of its patron saint, Sant Anastasi. Today's program highlights its commitment to traditional culture, with the Matinals de Seguici at 11:15 AM and the Ball de Diables at 12:00 PM, which will tour the Eix Comercial.
The most solemn acts of the day include a religious service in the Cathedral at 11:00 AM, presided over by the bishop of Lleida, followed by a procession and the flower offering in honor of Sant Anastasi at 12:15 PM. One of the most anticipated events is the Battle of Flowers, which will take place at 6:00 PM on rambla Ferran, returning to this location after renovation works.
In addition to the main celebrations, eight cultural facilities in the city will open their doors to the public from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. These include the Castell de Gardeny, the Museu Morera, the Museu de Lleida, the Turó de la Seu Vella, La Panera, the Museu de l'Aigua, and the Museu Roda Roda. The day will conclude with a dance in plaça Sant Joan at 7:00 PM, sardanas in plaça Paeria at 7:30 PM, and the performance of Conte del Marraco in Camps Elisis at 8:00 PM. The Castell de Focs, scheduled for 10:00 PM, will bring an end to four days of celebration.
