The city of Lleida currently has 41 vulnerable zones where the sanitation network and general mobility could be compromised during episodes of heavy rainfall or intense storms.

The water service provider, Aqualia, monitors these critical points to perform preventive maintenance. These locations are typically low-lying areas in the Segrià capital, intersections with steep slopes, or streets with many trees where falling leaves can block storm drains.
Key areas under special surveillance include Rambla Ferran, Blondel and Pearson avenues, and the junction of Rovira Roure with Onze de Setembre. Other sensitive spots include the Ll-12 highway and Lluís Companys street.
Last year, 3,703 preventive interventions were carried out, mostly during April, September, and October. The Historic Center and Riu Ebre street recorded the highest number of incidents.
