The Department of Agriculture will deploy 600 staff members this Friday, February 27, to manage the 2026 Agricultural Elections across 430 polling stations in Catalonia.

The Lleida region stands as the main electoral hub, accounting for 8,140 voters and 121 polling stations. Within the Segrià county, the capital city of Lleida and the town of Alcarràs show the highest concentration of registered farmers and ranchers.
A total of 21,374 voters are eligible to participate, marking an increase of 764 compared to the 2021 elections. Five main organizations, including Unió de Pagesos and JARC, are competing for representation in key advisory bodies such as the Taula Agrària.
Polling stations will remain open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The logistical plan ensures that voters in 908 municipalities are no more than a 20-minute drive away from their designated voting location.
