The Lleida Museum has launched its educational program for the 2026-2027 academic year, aimed at teachers and heritage education professionals, under the slogan «Transforming the Classroom Through Heritage».

The event aims to provide tools and resources for utilizing heritage as a transformative educational asset. The session will introduce the museum's new offerings and its commitment to using heritage to understand the contemporary world.
Key novelties include the new itinerary «A Story That Feeds», proposals linked to the «Volaverunt» exhibition, and digital educational resources, such as the web video game «Explore Ilerda. Journey to the Past».
The strategic project «Escoles amigues» (Friend Schools) will also be presented, fostering stable alliances with educational centers through Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Service-Learning (ApS) initiatives.
The program includes a welcome by Clara Arbués, Director of the Lleida Museum, at 5:30 PM. Subsequently, Miquel Sabaté and Mariona Huguet, museum educators, will present the educational program's new features at 5:40 PM.
At 6:15 PM, a guided tour of the permanent collection and the didactic classroom will take place to explore the new proposals, educational materials, and resources accompanying visits and workshops. The closing is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
