The province of Lleida ended 2025 as the only area in Catalonia where home sales decreased, reporting an 8.3% drop compared to the previous year.

According to the National Statistics Institute (INE), Catalonia as a whole saw a robust 13.9% growth in real estate activity, totaling 112,585 operations. In contrast, Lleida only managed 453 sales in December, failing to follow the upward trend seen in Barcelona, Girona, and Tarragona.
Used housing remains the dominant force in the market, accounting for nearly 79% of all transactions. Despite the local dip in Lleida, the overall Spanish market reached its highest activity levels since 2007, surpassing 714,000 total sales throughout the year.
