The Arnau de Vilanova University Hospital, Santa Maria Hospital, and Lleida Primary Care welcomed over a hundred prospective residents this March 19 to promote specialized health training in the region.

The Jo trio Lleida (I choose Lleida) campaign highlights a total of 92 available positions. The two main hospitals offer 66 spots across 34 specialties, while Primary Care provides 26 openings for Family Medicine and Nursing.
Prospective residents from across Catalonia and Spain participated in guided tours and Q&A sessions with coordinators. The event aimed to help students choose their specialty by showcasing the benefits of the local health system, including research opportunities at IRBLleida.
Key advantages mentioned during the day included the wide population coverage—spanning Lleida, the Pyrenees, and the Franja de Ponent—and a personalized teaching approach that ensures close mentorship for every resident in the Segrià region.
