On June 26th, the Tourism Board of the Diputació de Lleida attended a professional workshop in Lleida, organized by the Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT). The event brought together over a hundred professionals from the tourism, business, and institutional sectors of the Pyrenees and the Terres de Lleida at the IEI.
The session aimed to showcase the services and tools that the ACT provides to the sector to generate new business opportunities and enhance destination competitiveness. Key work areas such as market intelligence, tourism promotion, and business support were presented, alongside a round table on tourism reputation.
Furthermore, on July 7th, the Board participated in the prePAI 2027 working day, also organized by the ACT. This meeting focused on defining the upcoming Plan of Actions and Investments (PAI) 2027, gathering ACT's production units, Tourism Promotion Centers, and marketing managers to collaboratively define strategic projects.
Through this involvement, the Tourism Board reaffirms its commitment to actively contributing to the definition of strategic lines for tourism promotion in Catalonia, ensuring the representation of the interests and potential of the Pyrenees and the Terres de Lleida.
On June 26th, the Tourism Board also attended the presentation of the Generalitat's campaign, “Feel our culture. Live Catalonia,” designed to promote Catalonia through its heritage and culture over the next twelve months in Catalonia, Spain, and various international markets.
The campaign highlights Catalan identity, creativity, street culture, and major cultural icons as gateways to emerging talent, aiming to establish Catalonia as a leading international destination for cultural tourism and authentic experiences.
