The city of Lleida is set to launch its new bus station on March 2, following an official inauguration ceremony scheduled for February 28 at the Placa de Berenguer IV.

Located adjacent to the Lleida-Pirineus railway station, the new terminal will host major transport companies such as ALSA, Sole i Sero, and Autocars del Pla. These services will cease their current operations at Carrer Saracibar, concentrating all regional bus traffic at the new intermodal hub.
The move has sparked concerns among commuters from nearby areas like Les Borges Blanques and the Garrigues region. Passengers who previously benefited from multiple drop-off points across the city may now face longer walks to reach the Eix Comercial shopping district or university campuses.

"One of our obsessions is that within the framework of the Station Plan, Adif opens the north door of the station, facilitating access via Roger de Lluria."
