The National Police have arrested 30 individuals, including one suspect in Lleida, for their involvement in a criminal organization that purchased luxury cars using stolen identities on March 20.

The ring, based in Madrid, recruited vulnerable individuals, offering them 1,000 euros to use their photos on forged documents. These individuals were then sent to dealerships to collect high-end vehicles financed through fraudulent loans.
The stolen cars were later transported to France, Germany, and Romania, where they were sold below market value. Police officers recovered 28 luxury vehicles worth an estimated 1.26 million euros during the operation.
The investigation began last year following a report from a financial institution. Arrests were carried out across Spain and France, effectively dismantling the group's logistics and their private forgery laboratory.
