The event, held on the left bank of the canalization, offered a wide variety of local products, including coca de recapte, fruit, and snails. This edition placed a special emphasis on pork, with the preparation of 100 kilograms of sausage and 70 kilograms of gormanda snails. Attendees received a kit with a reusable cup, a ticket for apple cake, a sandwich, and a hat, and could sample cured meats, sausage with samfaina, juices, wines, beers, and vermouth, with options for celiacs and vegans.
“"It is the prelude to the Lleida Beaches project, which plans to enable permanent catering and hammock services at street level next to various accesses to the canalization."
The Lleida Beaches project, mentioned by the mayor, aims to transform the area with permanent catering, sports, and leisure services. It is anticipated that one of the "service stations" will be located near the Camps Elisis, at the beginning of the walkway, while the canalization will host ephemeral activities. The management of Lleida Turisme highlighted that twice as many tickets were sold as last year, underscoring the success of the call and support for the pork sector.
The day was filled with activities from noon until sunset. In the morning, sports proposals such as capoeira, yoga, and the Social Run West Runners race were held, along with music sessions and gastronomic showcookings. The Sícoris Club, celebrating its 75th anniversary, offered a dozen canoes to bring this sport closer to citizens. In the afternoon, the first edition of the Cursa i Caminada de l'Horta and performances by local DJs took place. A space for babies was also set up, and traditional children's games were organized.
