A report submitted to the Sindicatura de Greuges (Ombudsman) shows that 70.8% of the homeless population in the Segrià capital lives in groups. There are 14 outdoor sites and 13 settlements located within abandoned buildings.
The demographic profile is predominantly male, with only one woman recorded in the census. Most individuals are aged between 41 and 60. Social services currently monitor less than a third of the total registered homeless population in the city.
While Lleida offers 585 residential places and 70 emergency beds, the report notes a lack of dedicated hygiene facilities, despite the availability of social canteens and clothing services.
