The player arrives in Lleida after winning the Spanish club championship with her previous team, establishing herself as one of Catalan handball's rising stars. Masame also boasts a notable track record in youth categories, having won medals with the Catalan team in various Spanish Championships.
For four years, the new signing for the Lleida club was part of the Centre d’Alt Rendiment and the Joaquín Blume sports residence in Esplugues de Llobregat, one of the country's leading sports training centers.
The club's sporting management highlights the player's potential: "She is a player with great projection and excellent technical and physical ability. Her signing shows that we can be a draw for young athletes from Catalonia and continue to grow as a club," they stated.
This is the second reinforcement confirmed by Lleida Handbol, following the signing of Laura Bazco. The club is now working to finalize, presumably, two more signings with the aim of increasing the team's competitive level.
