Five of the eleven individuals arrested on Tuesday in a Mossos d'Esquadra operation against marihuana and weapons trafficking in Lleida and Seròs have been remanded in provisional custody without bail.

The magistrate of the instruction section of the Lleida Court of First Instance has ordered this measure for five of the detainees, while the others have been released on provisional liberty with the obligation to appear periodically before the court.
The investigation, according to the TSJC, is open for crimes against public health, membership of a criminal organization, illegal possession of weapons, and electricity fraud. The police operation involved seven raids and searches of properties and industrial warehouses in both municipalities, where weapons, money, and a large quantity of ammunition were seized.
One of the key points of the operation was the Mariola neighborhood in Lleida, where three arrests were made, and a marihuana plantation was discovered in a basement, in addition to the seizure of weapons. In Horta de Lleida, four people were arrested, according to information from the Paeria.
