The municipality of Puigverd de Lleida is innovating its traditional Sant Jordi celebration, transforming the dragon legend into a musical spectacle set to take place on the weekend of April 25th and 26th.

This initiative, announced by the organizers, the City Council and the Diputació de Lleida, promises a renewed cultural experience. The main show is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, at 10:00 PM and will feature the participation of various local and regional entities.
Among the notable participants will be the Dimonis dels Trons, the Grallers del Drac, the Escola Municipal de Música de Puigverd, the Coral la Palometa, and Llegendes de Ponent. Admission to the event will be through a reverse box office system, allowing attendees to decide the price of their ticket.
Throughout both days, Puigverd de Lleida will be transformed with a medieval market offering artisan stalls and a variety of musical and recreational activities set in the medieval era. Approximately 3,000 visitors and fifty stalls are expected.

"This celebration, which we have been able to revive with everyone's support, mobilizes nearly a thousand people."

As an additional novelty, on Sunday, April 26th, at 10:00 AM, a traditional 'ballada de gegants' (giants' dance) and a parade will take place with the collaboration of the Grup Cultural Garrigues and the Patronat del Corpus, further enriching the festive program.
