The collaboration, supported by CaixaBank, ensures that four Residential Care Centers (CRAE) in the province will continue using the Glifing method. Developed alongside the University of Barcelona, this interactive system turns reading practice into a game to improve fluency and comprehension.
The participating centers include Jardins de Saüc, Jardins de Neret, Llar Mare Esperança, and Llars Infantils Torre Vicens. During the previous term, the initiative completed over 2,700 sessions, involving 78 children and teenagers aged 5 to 17.
Supported by the DGPPIA of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the project aims to foster social inclusion. Educational teams have reported significant progress in students' motivation and a more positive attitude toward learning and school tasks.
