The rail operator Renfe has increased the number of seats on four Avant services connecting Lleida, Tarragona, and Barcelona this Monday, adding 1,134 extra places for commuters.

Following a mobility study that highlighted high demand, the company has upgraded the trains departing from Lleida-Pirineus at 7:05 AM and 7:23 PM, as well as those leaving Barcelona-Sants at 6:05 PM and 9:30 PM.
The upgrade involves replacing Series 120 models with new Series 106 high-capacity trains. Each of these new convoys offers 581 seats, significantly increasing the volume of passengers that can be transported during peak hours.

"This expansion is part of a strategic plan to adapt Avant services to real demand."
