The Rodalies and Regional train service in Lleida resumed on Friday with significant delays and cancellations, causing uncertainty among users after a two-day halt.

The resumption of rail service in the Lleida area, following a two-day interruption, began with delays exceeding half an hour and the cancellation of some trains, such as the RL3 Lleida-Cervera service scheduled for 8:03 am. Users arrived at stations, including Tàrrega, with many doubts but hoping to travel to their destinations.
At the Lleida station, uncertainty was palpable. Fátima, a resident of Balaguer, explained that she had tried to travel to Barcelona the previous day without success. Meanwhile, the public address system announced the service restoration, and trains could be seen circulating with black ribbons on the cabin windows, a detail highlighting the situation.
The RL3 line was one of the most affected. The train scheduled for 5:39 am departed 40 minutes late due to waiting for a reserve driver. Later, the 8:03 am convoy was cancelled. After announcing a bus replacement, travelers were asked to wait for the RL4 Lleida-Terrassa train scheduled for 8:42 am, which ultimately did not depart until 10:14 am, accumulating a delay of nearly two hours.

"We need to recover the schedules because we lose work time and sometimes the boss gets a little annoyed with us, even though it's not our fault."

Other passengers showed understanding regarding the drivers' demands. Pau Mimbrera, a user of the R14 line between Lleida and Reus, claimed that “the quality of the service must be improved.” Similarly, Rubén Serrano, traveling to Barcelona on the R13, stated that “if the network is not safe, it is right that they demonstrate and do not want to accept the track conditions.”
