The Segre River flow in Lleida surged to 172.2 cubic meters per second this February 15th, following controlled water releases from upstream reservoirs to manage rising water levels.

The Lleida City Council has restricted access to the riverbanks as a precaution. Current data shows the flow is four times higher than levels recorded two days ago, with water spilling into the landscaped areas of the city's canalization.
The Ebro Hydrographic Confederation (CHE) is regulating the Oliana and Rialb dams, which are currently at 95% and 92% capacity respectively. These measures are essential to accommodate incoming water from Pyrenean snowmelt and recent rainfall.
