Hundreds of teachers blocked several major highways across Central Catalonia, Ponent, and the Alt Pirineu this Wednesday during the third day of sector-wide strikes.

In Manresa, over a hundred professionals shut down the C-55 highway in both directions. The protest began at the Education department headquarters on Vic road before moving to the main artery to demand increased public funding.
In the Lleida region, the A-2 motorway faced significant disruptions near Alcarràs and Soses. According to the Catalan Transit Service, the blockades started around 7:00 AM, causing major traffic delays in the Segrià area.

Education in struggle. More resources, fewer cuts.

Other affected routes included the C-16 in Berga and the N-260 in La Seu d'Urgell. Unions have refused local negotiations, insisting on a national agreement after protesters spent the night occupying government offices in Manresa.
