Hundreds of teachers blocked the A-2 highway in Lleida and several key roads in Central Catalonia this March 18 during the third day of regional strikes.

The protests, organized by unions including USTEC and CGT, caused significant traffic delays. Major blockades occurred on the A-2 at Soses and the C-55 in Manresa. Unions report a 65% turnout, while the Government estimates participation at 30%.
Educators are demanding a return to the negotiating table, rejecting a previous agreement signed by other unions. They claim current proposals fail to address long-standing budget cuts in the Catalan education system.
