The Lleida City Council has announced the opening of a new edition of the International City of Lleida Award. This initiative aims to boost local talent, young entrepreneurship, and city businesses, as previously done with new editions of the Nexe Award and the International City of Lleida Award itself.
The award recognizes a scientific career of excellence. Mayor Larrosa has emphasized that the award champions a city model based on knowledge, innovation, and institutional collaboration.
In previous editions, the award has recognized the work of entities such as the research group in Plant Malherbology and Vegetable Ecology at UdL-Agrotecnio.
