Approximately two thousand teachers marched through the streets of Lleida this Wednesday to demand improvements in the education system, including more resources, lower ratios, and reduced bureaucracy.

The demonstration brought together primary and secondary school teachers, as well as social educators, starting at Ricard Viñes Square. The march passed through Prat de la Riba and Rambla Ferran before ending at Sant Joan Square.
Early in the morning, protesters blocked several major roads, including the A-2 highway in Alcarràs, the N-260 in La Seu d'Urgell, and the C-55 in Clariana de Cardener, causing significant traffic disruptions.
Strike participation data varies significantly between sources. The Department of Education reported a turnout of 29.04%, while the USTEC union estimated that 70% of the staff joined the protest.
