The insertion company Troballes, from Càritas Diocesana de Lleida, celebrated its 20th anniversary yesterday with a fashion show in Sant Joan Square in Lleida, highlighting its work in sustainable fashion and social inclusion.

The event, under the slogan 'Fashion that transforms lives', combined fashion, awareness, and gratitude, emphasizing the importance of giving a second chance to clothing items and, at the same time, generating employment opportunities for people in vulnerable situations. The authorities present praised the initiative, calling it a 'pioneering' project.

"We have been able to review the company's 20 years with recognition for all the people who have invested time and hours to ensure Troballes reached this anniversary."

The event also served to recall the relevance of clothing donations and second-hand purchases as pillars of a circular economy model with tangible social impact. Troballes currently manages 164 clothing collection containers in Lleida, the red ones, and during 2025 collected 785,685 kilograms of used textiles. Each kilogram of collected clothing helps save up to 25 kilograms of CO2 and between 8,000 and 10,000 liters of water.
