The capital of Segrià hosted two separate protest events. The Marea Lila march started at Ricard Viñes Square and ended at Sant Joan Square, gathering around 600 people according to organizers and 300 according to the Local Police. Meanwhile, the Lleida Feminist Coordinator marched from 8 de Març Square to Sant Francesc Square.
“"We say no to far-right policies, racism, xenophobia, and LGTBIQ-phobia."
During the manifesto reading at Sant Joan Square, special emphasis was placed on the situation of rural women and the need for effective equality in the countryside. The text also linked the feminist struggle with environmental justice and anti-militarism.
