The University of Lleida (UdL) hosted the second edition of the University Correllengua this Tuesday, February 24th, with over a hundred attendees supporting the use of the Catalan language.

Organized by student associations and the National Youth Council of Catalonia, the event featured traditional 'calçotades' and cultural performances at the Cappont and ETSEA campuses, highlighting the linguistic challenges in academia.

"Only 72.8% of teaching hours are in Catalan, and in the case of master's degrees, the figure drops to 39%."
